Hey everyone,

it's been a really long time since I last postet but I'm back. I've missed blogging so much and although I usually don't make any new year resolutions I now officially make regular blogging one of them. I am currently sitting in bed wrapped in my really soft dark brown blanket, listening to sam smith songs while I'm drinking peppermint tea and thinking about everything that happened this year. I really can't believe 2017 is almost over. This year has been full of endings and new beginnings and I've made so many good memories that I never want to forget. I'm so excited for what next year has to offer. I'm going to graduate and I'm still not really sure what will follow after that. The only thing I know for sure is that I am going to travel a lot and I want to spend much more time on the things that I truly love. Just like blogging and writing in general, photography, playing the ukulele (which i've currently neglected), reading and painting ( although I'm really bad at it). I was thinking about writing something about what I've learned in 2017 but I already did a 'Things I've learned in 2016' post last year. So this post is just going to be a random memories of 2017 post. So what did I do in 2017?

A lot happened but I'm just going to name the most important events:
First of all I've spend a lot time with my friends. Then I became aunt of two beuatiful little boys this year and I've met a part of my family that I haven't seen for a long time. Most of my friends turned 18 this year and so did I. I went to the lollapalooza with two of my best friends in September. Which was probably one of my favourite events of 2017. Then I went to Astrid S konzert to see her live for the second time and a week ago I finally saw Lany live (thanks again to my amazing friends). I hope they're coming back to Hamburg anytime soon. Not to forget I've spent an amazing and really fun time in Nice, France and Monaco with my friends (and the rest of my tutor group) and explored Lüneburg and Bremen in summer with my parents. Last but not least I've finally got hands on a dslr camera which made a long-time dream of mine come true.

Remember to look up at the stars and not down at your feet. Try to make sense of what you see and wonder about what makes the universe exist. Be curious. And however difficult life may seem, there is always something you can do and succeed at. It matters that you don't give up.

Happy new year to all of you!
