"Each morning we are born again. What we do today is what matters most."
- Buddha -

We all struggle when it comes to living in the moment. We think about the future so much that we totally forget to make the best out of the Now. That's why I gathered some tips that will help you to live life in the moment.

Meditate / do nothing for at least 10 minutes
We are always so busy that we do not relax enough, And when I say relaxing I don't mean being on your phone and browsing through social media. Just spend some time doing absolutely nothing and in total silence. This will help you clear your mind and it will give you new energy for the day.

Buddha was asked, "What have you gained from Meditation?"
He replied "Nothing! However, let me tell you what I have lost:
Anger, Anxiety, Depression, Insecurity, Fear of old age and Death

Turn off your phone
Our phone is our constant companion and I know it's hard not to check it everytime you get a message but you should try to turn off your phone for some hours each day. Put it in another room or leave it at home when you're going to meet friends to make sure you won't give in the temptation. Also make sure your phone isn't the first thing you check in the morning and the last thing you check before going to bed.

Be more mindful
The key to mindfulness is taking your time while your doing things. No matter if it is eating, writing, reading or anything else. Don't try to do many things at once. Just focus on one at a time.

"Quiet the mind and the soul will speak"
- Buddha -

Start a journal
I've recently started a journal and I can already tell that it helps so much to feel clearer and happier. You can just get everything out of your head and write down your thoughts. It doesn't even matter what you write down. You could write down some things you want to change in the world, in your life or things that make you happy. It's all up to you.

Laughing makes everyone so much happier. Enjoy the moment and be happy. Stop worrying about the future all the time it will just bring you down and destroy the moment you are living right now.

"There is no path to happiness;
hapiness is the path"
